library mom: systematically cataloging all aspects of raising two babies at the same time
2008-04-02 ------------------------------------
You say you want a revolution
Today I flew into Boston, landed at 9:30 am, and was home by 4:30. While there, I saw two customers. The second one, a librarian, showed me out of their office building. I got so involved talking with her that I tried to get into the same revolving door wedge that she got in. Of course, my laptop bag got stuck and I almost smothered her when the door suddenly stopped revolving. The compartment in a revolving door is not meant to be shared. I had to backtrack through the narrow space my laptop created and sheepishly went through properly. A contingent of post-lunchtime lawyers looked at me rather incredulously.
