Just beachy

On Wednesday, the nanny took off so I packed the girls up and headed over to lovely and trashy Seaside Heights for a little beach/aunt action. My sister and BF are down there for vacation -- and the BF offered to babysit if C and I wanted to go surfing. So nice! But of course once I got down the shore, dark clouds rolled in.

We managed to have some lunch at Surf Taco and stroll up to the beach but then the thunder started. Oh well. Not that I would have been too graceful in the water anyway -- it's been almost 2 years since I've taken my board out.

The ladies love being out and about. Their newest tricks: waving (at anything and anyone -- dogs especially but occasionally the sidewalk will get waved at as well) and throwing their arms up when you say, "How big is (Ana/Lily)? Sooooooo big!"
