Crawling with slappy hands

these look like fun

It is shaping up to be a weird week in babyland. Molly, our nanny of almost 9 months, will be leaving us in a few days. She is about 31 weeks pregnant so it started to become apparent that we needed to discuss her end date. She is becoming less mobile and the ladies are crawling and climbing everything in sight. Case in point: the stairs.

The girls start daycare after that -- cheaper than an nanny but oh, so much more effort! Plus we have to haul diapers, wipes, bottles and food with us each day.

That said, Lisher and I think the socialization aspects of daycare are a good thing. Our doctor recommended keeping them out of "the system" for a year while their preemie-immunity built up, so we've done alright by that.

I think getting out of the door every morning is going to be the biggest hurdle.
