------------------------------------ Cuteness Update 252 Somebody remind me what day it is again? Everyday I wake up and start running, and the days blend together. Here is your weekly blend of unicorns, rainbows and fudge: This weekend we slept over my mom's house. Though it was chilly, we took the girls outside where they experienced the weirdness of grass. Apparently, it's a perturbing thing for city kids. Ana kept picking her feet up as though she were walking on hot coals. I can't wait for the beach. Just in time for Easter, Lily busted out with her first two-syllable word, "rabbit". She must have learned it at daycare because we call them bunnies at home. Another first: jumping (like rabbits)--a hilarious spectacle as their feet never leave the ground. Yet they try so hard! An amazing amount of energy around here goes into not jumping. And we are making more leaps/bounds into baby sign language. We've been using it for a while but now the girls pick up the signs much quicker. And they find them funny. Example: the sign for bear. Essentially you cross your arms and scratch your stomach. Ana loves it. And when I say "mommy bear!" she runs over and scratches my tummy. 9:48 p.m. 2008-03-27
