library mom: systematically cataloging all aspects of raising two babies at the same time
2007-03-30 ------------------------------------
"Time to read a story ladies!"

It appears that we have reverted back to an earlier sleep stage in the ladies' life: the 4 a.m. wake up call. For a while, we did pretty good; put them to sleep around 10:30 and they'd be out for 7 or 8 hours. I actually felt refreshed. Lately though, Peanut Sr has been waking up crying right around the witching hour. I tried letting her cry it out, but that isn't the safest practice when her sister sleeps mere feet away. I attempted to rub her tummy and actually coaxed her back to sleep last night -- for 2.2 seconds. So the diaper gets changed, bottle warmed and sleepy mornings entail (for mom). It is time to call it a night; especially now that both ladies are sleeping soundly upstairs.
